The forest inhales a twilight embrace, and exhales the cool evening air. The peekaboo sun descends, its golden fingers weave through the steadfast tree trunks, casting an crisp reflection upon a secret pond. Inspired by, and named after, the Rainbow Scarab beetle, the artist uses the palette of colors which adorn the shimmering black exoskeleton: iridescent blues, greens, and golds. Here, moss-clad trees stand sentinel, their verdant whispers reflected in the tranquil pond like echoes of an evening’s sigh.
